i have only just heard of this author and her book and am very happy to hear of her approach. i agree totally, as a man there is nothing i would like more than for me and my wife to share life in this way. and i don't believe it matters which of us is paid the salary. the point is that we would both be engaged in a very common goal..US and our marriage/family. i hope that Megans philosophy catches on and helps to steer us way from the ridiculously unsustainable situation we currently call life.
thanks Megan and well done

a new profound thought:

How to End Prohibition with Honesty

Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is in prison. Mark Twain

Unjust Laws (like prohibition) can only function in a dishonest society—like ours. In a responsible society where we told the truth, pot smoking lawbreakers would go directly to their local police station (with their community) and confess their crime. Prohibition (selective prosecution as social policy) only works because we are willing to lie—to give up all our power. The day we are willing to be honest in this country is also the day prohibition is doomed. Being honest, telling the truth has tremendous potential for empowering people and communities—and to limit the violence caused by the tyranny of unjust laws.

Strength does not come from physical capacity (army & police). It comes from an indomitable will. Mahatma Gandhi

Well, if they decided to quit acting and be stay home Moms, it will be a great idea. I guess aside from being focus to their children, they also want to live their life in private. They've been in public's eyes for years and I think it's time to give them a break.

This show is one of those that either has you cracking up or shaking your head in disgust saying, "I can't believe that he just said that." Glad to see you blogging. I'll definitely add you to my blogroll.
